This is an initial working privacy policy for AWSDevTools. It should be reviewed and expanded with legal counsel before broad production rollout.
We may collect account registration details, login and authentication data, connected AWS account metadata, tool usage history, operational logs, support communications, and basic analytics needed to run and improve the service.
We use collected information to authenticate users, operate the platform, run requested tools, provide support, secure the service, investigate abuse, and improve reliability and product quality.
AWSDevTools is designed so customers keep control of their AWS accounts. Connected-account access is intended to use IAM role assumption and short-lived credentials. We do not position the service as a system that requires permanent customer cloud credentials stored in plain application config.
We retain data for as long as needed to operate the service, maintain security, satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention windows may change as the product matures.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information, but no system can be guaranteed fully secure.
We may update this privacy policy over time. Continued use of the service after updates means the updated policy applies.
